The Boy With The Spyrograph Eyes


I finish binding the book today, then I'll hand color the covers. I'll have them for sale next weekend in Chicago at the Chicago Zine Fest.

Why do you need to cut the paper with the saw?

The grooves increase the surface area for the glue to hold the paper, and I'll zig zag string up and down the spine, through the grooves, between the first and second coat of glue. That adds extra strength tho the binding.
