For What It's Worth

From The Agonist and Info Wars, This is from 2 WEEKS AGO. Free Tibet demonstrators walking near the U.N., getting beat with clubs and threatened with death by cops in New York City.

There's a man with a gun over there tellin' me I got to beware.

Eventually, some Buddhist Monks will light themselves on fire on the sidewalks of New York. Do you think they will care whether or not they are being clubbed with batons or being tazed, bro?

Stop, Hey, What's That Sound?

The Blog Against Theocracy Blogswarm continues.

The U.S. Military is intimately linked to religion at the highest levels of authority.

The hypocrisy of "Alleged Christians" in the Government is mind boggling.

Churches and religion are big business and they shouldn't be getting a free pass from the government. Tax The Churches!

Was it Lenny Bruce who said "Thou shalt not kill means just that!"? He must have been sniffing model airplane glue when he said that.

George Bush's and Dick Cheney's War In Iraq is Now Old Enough For Kindergarten

Celebrating 5 Long Years of the Iraquagmire. Hold on a second, let me google "Iraquagmire".....hmm hmm hmmmm Ah! Here it is

Here's a question that is never asked on TV, or on the front pages of newspapers. If the Authorization to Use Military Force was granted to Bush so that he could use it as leverage at the U.N. against Iraq to allow weapons inspectors back into Iraq, why did he invade Iraq after weapons inspectors were back in Iraq and actively looking for the "Weapons Of Mass Destruction"?

Why is there no mention of Hans Blix this week in the Mainstream Media? Here's a cartoon I did for The Daily Iowan in 2002 during the buildup to the war.

Yeah, I'm a day or so late for the BlogSwarm. It wouldn't be the first time I was a day late and a dollar short, but who's counting? Here's another cartoon from the Fall of 2002.

Once upon a time L'il George decided to do an experiment. He placed a frog in a pan of cold water and put the pan on the stove. He wanted to see if the frog would jump out of the water as it got warmer, or would the frog not notice as it was boiled alive. L'il George turned on the stove and watched. After half a minute, L'il George removed the frog from the cold water, took the frog outside and placed a firecracker in the frog's mouth. L'il George lit the firecracker and tossed the frog, imagining it was a hand grenade.

RoadHouse of Representatives

Actor Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope that his illness doesn't turn into a media circus/distraction. The media are searching for the next big "distraction". Perhaps the murder of a UNC student will do the trick for them. Maybe another white college girl will go missing this Spring Break.Meanwhile, let's get Schmidt-faced!

Questions: Is the bombing of an Armed Forces Recruiting Office considered an act of Terrorism? Have we witnessed another Act of Terrorism on American Soil during the Bush Presidency? Does the determination by the Bush Administration concerning whether or not it is considered an act of terrorism have to do with the color of the suspect's skin?

People Power

I just returned last weekend after a month in The Philippines, and I'm still shaking the cobwebs from my brain. The purpose of the trip was to visit family and help celebrate Lola Lota's 8oth birthday. A good time was had by all! The vacation was also a blessed relief from "American Junk". Scrutinizing the minutiae of primary season, day after day, can wear you down.

Did I miss Bill O'Reilly's "War on Saint Valentines Day"? Did John McCain's mistress give birth to Rudy Giuliani's adopted black child, the great great grandson of Strom Thumond and his maid? Is Rush Limbaugh getting his painkillers direct from the poppy fields of Afghanistan? Has the corpse of Vincent Foster been re-animated by Karl Rove in Dick Cheney's secret underground puppy blood factory?

When you're stopped on the Marcos Highway at 2:00 AM by a military roadblock because Philippines President Gloria Arroyo is under threat of yet another impeachment attempt, and the tanks are rolling into Manila in anticipation of People Power resisting the powers that be trying to confine them to a George W Bush style "Free Speech Zone", things like "flagpins, and who ain't wearing 'em" are a million miles away.

I miss John Bolton....
