All Your Past Lives Flashing Before Your Eyes Just Prior To Leaving The Womb or, The Wail

A jam with Tyler. He gave me the booklet with just the text on Saturday, I drew all the pages on Sunday in ballpoint pen, then added color and fattened lines on Monday.

A Night At The Opera

This is the first part of a larger story, the second part being By The Shores Of Gitchee Goo Me. Eventually, the story arc has instant karma taking 25 years to catch up with the retired military dirtbags at the VFW, who used to run a prostitution ring on the outskirts of an overseas military base.
On the cover of this comic, the black is from the etched copper plate, and the color is watercolor. I’ll have 7 copies for sale in Madison on Saturday at the Madison Print and Resist Show, 5 with covers on the handmade paper, and 2 on BFK Rives printmaker paper. There is only one woman in this story, and she’s a prostitute. Some people may ask, “What the hell, Dave, there’s only one woman in this story and she’s a prostitute?”, and that’s a very good question. And there’s a very good reason for it. This is the second part or installment of a longer story (the first being the comic A Night At The Opera). In the beginning of this longer story, these first 2 installments, I’ve introduced the cast of scumbags and the environment they inhabit. They are retired US military people who were responsible for setting up and managing a prostitution ring around a military base overseas. The second half of the story will see karma come to collect the debt for their actions.
