Letterpressed cover page (and the letterpressed boxes that will house these comics are drying at the shop), intaglio printed pages on handmade paper, edition of 30. I'll probabbly hand color some with watercolors and acrylic.

The plates I used to print these at the Iowa City Press Co-op are a very hard plastic. I found a "carpet protector" one of those things office chairs roll around on, at a local thrift store, and cut it up into roughly 4 x 6 inch panels, and beveled them with a belt sander.

I made this paper (16 in. x 30 in) and I'm redrawing the David Bowie/Egon Schiele comic I did last year, and it will be part of a 2 person month long show I'm doing with my wife at Public Space One in Iowa City in March.

I did this Mike Olson Fan Art for my comics page project. The project will be mostly strips, like a newspaper comics page, but every page has a panel or two. It’s too big for the scanner to get it all in one scan.
