Slop Jockey Agitprop Co.

I did this Mike Olson Fan Art for my comics page project. The project will be mostly strips, like a newspaper comics page, but every page has a panel or two. It’s too big for the scanner to get it all in one scan.

Handmade paper, India ink, watercolor, acrylic paint, and pencil.

i made inquiries into the "free burial" issue a couple of years ago - an elderly aunt of mine, terminally ill with cancer, refused to discuss final arrangements - actively non-religious, she said "it is of no concern to me" and left it up to us, her surviving relatives, to work out something

one possibility was the "donation" route - her remains were not suitable for med student cadaver class, but "chop shops" that dissassemble and sell tissues would have taken her and at some point returned some cremains alleged to be of her

in practice, her sister sponsored her cremation and the ashes have been/will be returned to the earth, perhaps the indiana soil that nourished our ancestors back in the nineteenth century
