An intaglio test print from a couple of weeks ago done at Iowa City Press Co-op for a book project I'm working on -- the plates are engraved vinyl floor tiles from Restore and the paper is handmade in my basement. The floor tiles are dark grey, and it's hard to tell how much plate tone there is when you think you're done wiping the plate.
The narration that goes with the images will be letterpressed.
