This was my first attempt at printing on the Vandercook press at Iowa City Press Co-Op, and I made 48 copies, 6 in. x 9 in., acid free paper. I first made the India ink and watercolor on handmade paper original in 2015 to mark the birth of the nuclear era, the 70th anniversary of the first explosion of a nuclear bomb. It seemed appropriate to print it now as we have a cartoon president trying to Twitter us into a war.
