Skunkball

Here's my first effort at the woodblock print, the cover for an upcoming comic book, Skunkball. It was a lot of fun. I didn't have any printing ink, so I used some acrylic paint that I've had sitting around for years, collecting dust. I had to play around with adding water to get the right consistency.
Skunkball is a game we played in my house when I was a kid. Here's the back cover. The negative lettering, my name and date, came out much better than the positive lettering, the "Skunkball" on the front cover. The Skunkball part was a bit muddy. I've gone back and embellished the image with some black ink.
Here are some more copies with varying degrees of paint density.
And the woodblock.

Moar Details needed! Did you throw balls of mud at each other?

By the way, there is a healthy crop of woodcut fans at this website.

(Depending on one's definition of healthy, of curse.)
